A Home Birth Story | Dana Jackson Photography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Celebrating life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">It&#8217;s what I love to do with my camera<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">and in my own life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">There&#8217;s no greater way for me to celebrate life in my profession<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">than to photograph a birth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">When talented photographer and friend, <a href=\"http:\/\/susielinquist.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Susie<\/a>, asked me to be there to photograph<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">the home birth of her daughter<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I was honored.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">When she told me that what she wanted most out of the portraits<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">was to capture her son, Jack, meeting his sister for the first time<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I couldn&#8217;t wait for the call.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I wasn&#8217;t expecting a call at 6am (who expects a daytime birth)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">and I wasn&#8217;t expecting to have to finish up 25 preschoolers for their spring portraits when I got the call.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I got there just as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MidwiferyServices?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Olivia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/birthherway?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Candace<\/a> arrived.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">They are an amazing team to watch. \u00a0Seriously.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If you are considering home birth, or heck, any birth,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">you want them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">After 2 hours, Susie was still smiling in between contractions,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">so I took a risk and ran to the preschool to finish up with the kiddos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I barely made it back in time, barely,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">or maybe it was how it was always meant to be.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I got there JUST as Susie was ready to push.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Just 15 minutes later, we were all a big mush.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Beautiful, just beautiful. \u00a0Ella was simply perfect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Then, Jack came to meet his sister.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And it was nothing short of magical.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Be sure to watch the full slideshow to witness the magic yourself.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Be sure to have to volume on &#8211;
