I love to have “first” experiences.<\/p>\n

Heather and Dustin’s birth was a first for me because<\/p>\n

Heather (nor the rest of the family) did not know if she was having a boy or girl.<\/p>\n

Dustin knew, and how he kept it a secret, I’ll never know.<\/p>\n

It was so exciting!<\/p>\n

I got my first text from Heather around midnight – letting me know the show had started.<\/p>\n

I’ll tell you, it’s really hard to sleep after that. \u00a0I get so pumped up about births.<\/p>\n

They went to the hospital around 2:30am and at 4:30am, I just couldn’t sleep.<\/p>\n

I figured if I was awake, I’d see what was happening!<\/p>\n

\u00a0 I got to meet Heather’s mom and sister.<\/p>\n

What an amazing source of support. \u00a0Dustin, mom, and sister (and of course Heather)<\/p>\n

worked so seamlessly together. \u00a0Simply amazing to watch.<\/p>\n

I hung around for a couple hours and then left for a bit.<\/p>\n

Around 9am her water broke and it was time to capture the magic.<\/p>\n

And yes, it was magic.<\/p>\n

Every birth is so amazing.<\/p>\n

Heather was amazing to watch.<\/p>\n

She seemed so composed the whole time.<\/p>\n

Seriously, she did. \u00a0I’m not sure how.<\/p>\n

2 hours after her water broke, Heather and Dustin met their baby…..<\/p>\n

Well, I’m not going to tell you like that!<\/p>\n
